Hello magyar scene!
Lassan fogyni kezd a hely a bal kezemről (még egy 3-4 alkalom kb.), így el kell kezdenem gondolkodni a jobb karom koncepióján. Sakman-nal volt egy érdekes beszélgetésem a szekszárdi OGEX-en úgy általban tetoválásokról, és ő mondta, hogy neki azért nem lesz, mert ő biztosan PacMan-t, Sonic-ot meg hasonló gamer dolgokat tetene magára.
Innen jött az ötlet, hogy hírdessek egy QBParty fun compo-t szeretett demoscene-m grafikusainak: “Tervezd meg Mau jobb karját!” címmel. A feladat, hogy olyan pályamunkákat adjatok be, amik megvalósíthatóak, mint tetoválás. Hogy mik ennek a fontos peremfeltételei:
- Legyen a rajz dinamikus. Legyen benne valami akció/mozgás
- Ne legyen túl aprólékos
- Jó árnyékok vagy szép satírok legyenek benne
- Kinyomtatva is jól nézzen ki (nincs fehér háttér, mint a monitoron, itt a bőrömre “festünk”).

Ez a compo “zsűris” elbírálás alá fog esni ( meg fogom próbálni elhívni a tetováló mesteremet, és vele meg Ritával közösen fogjuk felállítani a rangsort ). A nyertes egy szép üvegtrófeát vehet majd át tőlem, illetve mindenki aki komolya veszi a feladatot, az nyomot hagyhat rajtam egy életre (szóval ez itt nem a Ricsi+Feryx féle rózsaszín vibrátoros “humor” helye! XD ). Remote entry is elfogadott, ha esetleg valami miatt nem tudnál jönni QB-re (de GYERE! ;-) ) .
Röviden a lényeg, ha szeretnél valami igazán maradandót alkotni: grafitra, rajzpadra, egérre, billentyűzetre fel! ;-)
U.I.: Dzsungel könyvéből ne merítsetek motivációt, ha lehet! Azt a triviális témát már ellőttük a bal kezemre :P Persze, ha úgy érzed, hogy tudsz mutatni valami eszement jó farkast, medvét ne fogd vissza magad, maximum lesz belőle fent több, de ahhoz tényleg nagyon egyedinek és menőnek kell lennie! ;-)

Hello international scene!
Soonish we’re gonna run out of free space on my left arm (circa 3-4 spots left) so I have to start thinking about the concept of my right arm. We had a discussion with Sakman in general about tattoos at OGEX in Szekszárd, and he said: “I will never have a tattoo, because I would get PacMan, Sonic and such gamer things!”.
This conversation brought me the idea of a QBParty fun gfx compo for my beloved demoscene graphicians, that I’d like to announce now, titeled “Design Mau’s right arm! The entries should be graphic designs or paintings, that are feasible as tattoos, with the following constraints::
- The picture itself has to be dynamic, and contain some action or movement.
- It should not contain too many tiny details
- Should contain nice and good looking shadows or shadings
- It also looks awesome in printed form (remember there’s no white background, we’re “painting” on my skin).

The compo results will be decided by a jury, consisting of my tattoo master, whom I’ll try to invite, my wife Rita and myself. The winner will receive a nice glass trophy from me, and everyone who takes the task seriously can have a spot on my skin for a lifetime (so this is not the right time for the Ricsi+Feryx related pink dildo “jokes” XD ). In case you cannot attend QB, remote entries are welcome! (but you should come ;-) ).
Long story short: if you’d like to create something eternal, grab your graphite, mouse, drawpad, keyboard! ;-)
P.S.: Please don’t use The Jungle Book as a source of inspiration if possible, that trivial concept has already been used on my left arm :P Of course, if you feel like you can show us some incredibly good looking wolf or bear, don’t hold back, worst case I’ll have more than one design to put on me, but for that it really has to be unique and extremely cool. ;-)
